Your Eyes
As I look into your eyes,
Through the mirrors
To your soul,
I see embers,
Burning.
Love's story,
Begging to be told.
Of love so pure
So simple,
A tapestry
Of hearts entwined
With silken threads of love,
Made of the finest gold.
Your eyes, shaded
By your long dark lashes
Like ladybirds in flight,
Seeking sanctuary,
From the coldness
And the darkness
Of the night.
I caress your eyelids
With kisses
So soft, ever so light.
My arms,
They ache to hold you,
Close to me
Close, close, tight.
Fingers, like party streamers,
fluttering across
Your skin.
Trapped on mound
And in crevices.
Dallying, dancing,
To a four fingered sound.
Slowly, gently,
Body devours body,
The taste of love's nectar,
Everywhere.
Motion upon motion,
Tender loving movements
Each with the other
Shares.
Breathing,
Like Mountaineers,
Reaching their peak
Exhausted, gather in,
Last gasps of ecstasy,
The pinnacles of desire.
All these I found,
When I looked
Into your eyes
And found through
The mirrors there,
Your Soul.
